Meet the inventor of the Kimberly™ & Katydid™ gasifier wood stoves, Roger Lehet.
When Roger Lehet and his family lost everything, including their wood stove business, they took refuge on their boat in Puget Sound. The winter storms were relentless and they struggled to keep themselves warm and dry. That is when Roger, with left over parts salvaged from his old store, built the first Kimberly™ wood stove prototype. Watch the video below to learn all about Roger’s mission and story.
Meet Our Team
Erik Beck
When Erik Beck went looking for a small, efficient wood stove for his float home he was bombarded with options. He needed a stove that burned clean, looked sleek, had a small clearance. There were plenty of small wood stoves on the market, but none that were UL certified or would meet home insurance standards.
That’s when he came across the Kimberly™ gasifier wood stove. After learning about the stoves and getting in touch with their USA manufacturer, Unforgettable Fires, LLC. Erik knew he had to bring these exquisite wood stoves to Canada.
In April 2012 Erik incorporated and started importing Unforgettable Fire’s wood gas stoves for the tiny home, vanlife, THOW, RV, laneway, house boat, off-grid and compact living communities in British Columbia and across Canada.

Jason McKee
Jason is an Alumni of Lakehead University, graduating with an HBComm degree in the class of 2006/07. He worked through school largely self-employed, family-employed, and at various stations [restaurant, retail, and many manner of labour] to have developed well-rounded experiential skills.
